Building up a fused glass panel
Here you can see how the images are built up with many layers of handcut glass sections, confetti glass, and various grades of fritt.
Framed and unframed work.
Each piece is totally unique, even if i tried to replicate a piece the kiln gods would see to it that there is some element of change . I like to build up the kiln shelf so that there is texture . Sometimes I will fuse a piece many times so that i can get it to "move" . Opening the kiln is like Christmas everyday, even when it goes wrong.
